The OCS Foundation is the largest association of OCS/OTS/OTC graduates
in the world, encompassing the United States Army, Navy, Air Force,
Marine Corps and Coast Guard, as well as Reserve and National Guard
units. Its mission includes preserving the history of officer candidate
schools through an online presence as well as community programs.
This Veterans History Project site is part of the OCS History Web,
an online museum of memoirs, yearbooks and other OCS/OTS/OTC related
documents.
The Veterans History Project is an initiative under the Library
of Congress American Folk life Center. Started in 2000, the project
seeks to preserve the memories of all participants from WWI, WWII,
Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf Wars.
Memoirs from this project are archived within the OCS History Web
as well as with the Library of Congress.
